    Notes:

Abby lived the greater portion of her life in Churchville,NY. She came to this area the bride of Harold Way with whom she raised five daughters during their 33 years together. During that portion of her life she was not only a wife and mother, but a worker in the fields and preparer of meals for the entire farm crew. When Abby left the farm she became a village resident, a Churchville-Chili School Bus driver and part of the Riga Free Library staff. She loved to play baseball and horseshoes; but just as much as she enjoyed the world of music-playing the violin in The Trio, or 'fiddling' for square dances. She was an avid Contract Bridge player, a worker of crosswords puzzles and a woman who never tired of reading, weather it was poetry for her own enjoyment or reading to children to broaden their outlooks. Through all her life, Abby's faith remained strong. It was in her church that she found the strength she needed to deal with what came her way.
