- SPRINGWATER - Gary W. Robinson, 70, of 8101 Wheaton Hill Road, passed
away early Thursday morning (Dec. 30, 2004) at his home.
Gary was born Aug. 22, 1934 in Canadice, the son of Oakley and Thelma
(Kline) Robinson. He grew up in the Canadice area prior to moving to
Springwater, and resided there since 1952. Gary's employment career
included time spent as a truck driver for Shay's and Mushroom,
Livingston County Deputy Sheriff, Robinson's Restaurant owner, and as
the Conesus Assistant Highway Superintendent. Gary was an avid hunter
and fisherman. He was a member of the Springwater Fire Department,
Springwater American Legion, and the VFW. Gary also loved to be with
his pets.
Gary was predeceased by his parents and three brothers. Gary is
survived by his wife, Mary Ann Robinson, of Springwater; children
Theresa and John Eldridge of Dansville, Stephen and Debra Robinson of
Dansville, Gary Mark Robinson of Wayland, Susan and Ray Tufano of
Telford, Pa., Phyllis and Kirby Becker of Big Lake, Minn., and Erin
Gregory of Dansville, along with several nieces and nephews.
Gary's funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of his
family. Interment will also take place at the convenience of the
family at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wayland. Contributions in Gary W.
Robinson's memory may be made to the Vincent House, 310 Second Ave.,
Wayland, NY 14572, or to the Livingston County Hospice Program,
Livingston County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14454. Gary's funeral
arrangements have been completed by the St. George-Stanton Funeral
Home, 109 W. Naples St., Wayland.
