- Mary A. Isaman, 100, of North Main St., passed away Sunday (May 17,
1992) in the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo,
where she had resided for the past five years.
Born in the Town of Burns on August 20, 1891, she was the daughter of
William and Adell Wilcox Bird. On August 5, 1914, she married Floyd L.
Isaman, who died in 1970.
She was a former employee of the Kings Daughter's Home and was a maid
at the former Bernarr Macfadden Physical Culture Hotel.
She was a member of the Ossian Presbyterian Church and the Ossian
Ladies Aid.
She is survived by a son, Alton Isaman of Dansville and a daughter
Dorothy Isaman of Fairport; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren;
10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She
was predeceased by two daughters, Elizabeth Guy and Katherine Green
and a son Clarence Isaman.
Arrangements were by the Hindle Funeral Home where a service was
Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. Dayle Dickey officiating.
Burial was in Canaseraga Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made
