  Notes	Emma C. Johnson, 69, passed away peacefully Thursday (Nov. 7, 2002) at her home after a long illness. Born Feb. 1, 1933 in Groveland, she was a daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Hartman) Acker. Her husband, Robert Johnson, predeceased her in 1978. She was a homemaker and mother of 10 children. She enjoyed cooking, especially making homemade doughnuts. She is survived by her children, Gordon Johnson of Mt. Morris, Jack Johnson of Norwich, Betty Johnson of Avon, Nancy Johnson of Lakeville, Billy Johnson of Florida, David Smith of Lakeville, Helen Newcomb of Wayland, Carol (Tom) Jacobs and Benjamin (Tina) Johnson, all of Dansville, and Star Freeman of Bath; 31 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, a brother, Gilbert Acker of Buffalo; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call today from 7-9 p.m. at the Chamberlin-Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. Contributions may be made to the Livingston County Hospice, Livingston County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14510 in memory of Emma C. Johnson.
