  Notes	Lloyd L. (Brownie) Halbert, 63, of 9232 Buck Road, Dansville, died Saturday (Oct. 26, 1985) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born in Birdsall, he had resided in Dansville for the past 35 years. He had been employed for 12 years, and retired from the Craig Developmental Center at Sonyea where he was a therapist. Mr. Halbert also had been employed by the North Dansville Highway Department. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Dansville Revival Tabernacle Church. Surviving are his wife, Florence Stauffer Halbert; three sons, Jerome of Mt. Morris, Stephen of Wayland and Lloyd Jr. of Arkport; three daughters, Sandra Burgoine of Wayland, Irene McChesney of Cohocton and Susan Halbert of Dansville; four brothers, Leslie of Canaseraga, Walter of Deston, Fla., John of Hunt and Roy of Arkport; two sisters, Frances Stauffer of Arkport and Dorothy New of Connecticut; 17 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Johnson Funeral Home, Dansville, with the Rev. Ernest Peterson officiating. Burial was in the Kiehle Cemetery, Sparta. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. (GCE, October 31, 1985, p6)
