  Notes	Clinton Moss, an old and respected resident of Almond, died at his residence on Tuesday of the last week. He complained of a pain in one of his ears a few days before death, but continued about his farm work until Monday previous to his death. A council of doctors was called and they decided that an abscess had formed at the base of the brain, which caused his death. A personal and pleasant acquaintance with Mr. Moss covering a period of years, was proof to us of his sterling worth as a citizen and friend. (Belmont Courier, Friday, June 14, 1901)
