  Notes	Joseph Brooks died last Sunday, aged 67 years. He was a son of the late Luther Brooks, was for many years a resident of this town, and well known as a good citizen. His funeral was held at the Waldo funeral home Wednesday afternoon. Rev. D. D. Brox, of the M. E. Church, officiating. Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife and by two sons, Ray and Frank, both of Batavia. (The Steuben Courier, Bath NY, Friday, January 17, 1930)
