Holbrook, 67, who died at his home in Exchange street, Thursday morning after a long illness, were held from the Wilson-Altmeyer funeral chapel, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was made in Greenmount cemetery. Bearers were; Richard, Earl and Isaac Holbrook, Raymond Hamsher and Carl and Walter McDonald. Mr. Holbrook had been a resident of Dansville and vicinity his entire life. Surviving are his widow, Mrs, Ernestine Webber Holbrook; two sons, James of Hornell and Harold at home; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Fenn of Ferry and Frances at home; five brothers, Milton, Martin and Isaac Holbrook, of Sparta, Ephriam Holbrook, of Holley and Pearl Holbrook of Wayland; one sister, Mrs. Patrick MacDonald of this village; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Those attending from out of town were Met Smith and son, Fredi of Rochester, Mrs. Florence Welch, Oakland, N.Y., Leslie Fenn of Perry, Ed Hann and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gary of West View, Otto Mehlenbacher of Ossian, Marie Johnson of Avon and Jennie Dean of Wayland.
