- Ruth Louise Fenn, 86, of West Ave., Dansville died Tuesday, Oct. 10,
2000 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She was the widow of
Percy William Fenn who died in 1977.
Ruth was born in Dansville June 9, 1914, the daughter of the late
Clarence and Ernistine Webber Holbrook. Prior to her retirement, she
had been employed at the Robson Cutlery Co. in Perry for 21 years. She
was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dansville.
She is survived by her daughter Jeanette (Loren) Prial of Dansville;
her stepdaughter Louise (William) Smith of San Antonio, Texas; a
daughter-in-law, Patricia (Mert) Hines of Newark Valley, N.Y.; her
sister Frances Clayton of Dansville, her brother James Holbrook of
Seabring, Fla.; grandchildren Christopher (Sandra), Michael, Louise,
Dawn and Eugene Fenn, Laurie (Weldon) Kruchten, Becky (Peter) Stanley,
James Prial and Melinda (Chad) Gallipeau; nine great-grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews including special niece Deborah Sweeney.
Ruth was predeceased by her brother Harold Holbrook and stepson
Laverne Fenn.
Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Chamberlin Funeral
Home, Inc., 73 Main St., Dansville where a funeral service will be
held Friday, 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jamie Stevens officiating. Burial
will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry.
