  Notes	A longtime Dansville village Police Justice, Glenn C. Hamsher of 60 Main St., Dansville, died Friday (May 10, 1974) in Noyes Memorial Hospital. He was 91. Mr. Hamsher was born in Sparta and was a lifelong resident of the Dansville area. He was head of the First Aid Department at Foster Wheeler Corp. here from 1912 until 1964. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and served as vestryman for 65 years. He was a warden emeritus at the time of his death. He was a member of Phoenix Masonic Lodge 115 for more than 50 years and was a past High Priest of Royal Arch Masons. He was a charter member of the Foster Wheeler 25-Year Club and was a member of the Fearless Hook and Ladder Fire Co. for more than 50 years. He served as police justice for the village for 14 years. Mr. Hamsher was also active in Republican politics and served as a Sparta elections board chairman for many years. Surviving are his wife, Naomie; three sons, Dr. Robert D. Hamsher of Dansville, John W. of Columbus, Ohio, and Charles B. of Deluth, Minn.; a brother, G. Herbert of East Rochester; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Masonic service was conducted Sunday evening in the Chamberlin Funeral Home. A funeral service was held in St. Peter's Church Monday. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
