Dwight Gates Hamsher (1893-1920) Plot: Hamsher |
Notes |
- Gates Hamsher, of Dansville was killed last Friday morning about five o'clock while working in the Carso paper mill. In some way his hand caught in the rollers and was drawn into them. Mr. Hamsher was a soldier being one of the first to enlist from Dansville and served until after the end of the war. One of the sad things connected with it is that he leaves a father who was eighty-nine years old the day his son was killed the two living together and altho there three other children, Mr Hamsher insists on living alone. Mr. Jonas Hamsher, the father is a brother of the late Martin Hamsher.
