  Notes	At the time of his father death, George was a Village Trustee of Dansville Dansville Businessman Succumbs to Illness Here A longtime Dansville merchant, George H. Dantz of 6 Clay St., died Saturday (Feb. 17, 1979) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was 75. Mr. Dantz was born in Dansville and lived here all his life. He and his wife, Thelma Pruner Dantz, who survives, had operated the Dantz Electric Store on Main St. for 31 years. He was a member of the Protectives and Union Hose volunteer fire companies. He also was a member of the Dansville Fish and Game Club, and for many years was a top skeet shooter for the organization. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John F. of Dansville; two brothers, Fred of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Howard of Groveland; a sister, Miss Mary Dantz of Port Charlotte; five grandsons. A funeral service was conducted Wednesday morning in the Chamberlin Funeral Home, Dansville. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery. (GCE, February 22, 1979, p12)
