Plot: HuntNotes - Born in Dansville 90 Years Ago George Hunt of West Sparta reached the age of ninety years February sixth. He was born in this village in a small house that then stood on the corner now occupied by Mader's market. Mr. Hunt's father was Samuel Hunt and when the son George was born the father kept a grocery and harness shop, the residence and store being shown in the history of Dansville, published in 1892, and found on page 43. George Hunt has lived in West Sparta the most of his life as a farmer. He never married and he now live alone enjoys good health, is a great reader, and one of the best informed men on general topics in his locality. His friends congratulate him.

- Death of George Hunt. George Hunt, aged 93 years, died at his home in Woodsville, Tuesday afternoon. The body was taken to Wilson & Altmeyer's undertaking room, from where funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. F. Hessler officiating. Mr. Hunt is survived by a nephew, George Bayer of Rochester and one niece, Miss Kate Bayer of this village. Interment was made in the family plot in Greenmount cemetery.
