I my Father bought a half bushel of him when he was out on a tour them as he made such articles for sale. It lasted us many years. He, Ezekiel, was appointed Deacon of the Baptist Church in Hartford. Elder Brown was their pastor for many years, gathered a large church, some or four hundred members. The deacon, Ezekiel, had only one son and or six daughters. On January 1, 1800 I was in that vacinity on a with two of my sisters for the first time."
