She was in her 78th year, having resided here to the greater portion of her life. She leaves to mourn their loss, a husband, eight children and a large number of relatives and friends. Mrs. George Merrill, Alvin, William Jr. of this place; Robert, Frank, Proctor and Mrs. Ed. Stewart of Hornellsville, also Miss Elvira Nephew who is being treated at the Willard State Hospital. She was a kind and devoted mother and an obliging neighbor. The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church, Sunday afternoon at half past two, the Rev. A. B. Straight officiating. The burial took place in Woodlawn. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction.
