  Notes	Mrs. Marion Allen, 84, Is Summoned at Beloit Beloit, Wis., Oct. 9.-Mrs. Marion Allen, 84, 423 Harrison avenue, a resident of this city since before the civil war, died at Municipal hospital Friday after an illness of more than three months. March 17, 1853 at Palmyra, Wis., and came to Beloit with her parents, John Chapin, Jr., and Delia Gates Chapin, before the civil war. She had resided nearly all her life in Beloit. She was married to Charles Allen here Sept. 2, 1879. He died eight years ago. She was a member of the First Congregational church and the Mothers' club. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. P. H. Crahen, and a nephew, E. H. Crahen, both of Beloit. Funeral services probably will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the home with the Rev. Elmer E. Voelkel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
