- Gordon grew up in Belmont, New York. After school, he enlisted in the US Air Force, serving as a gunner on a B-29. His service brought him to this area in 1951 where he met and married his wife, Beverly and raised five children. He worked as an electrician in the petrochemical industry and retired after many years of service. He was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. Some years after Beverly’s passing, he reconnected with his school mate from Belmont, Carolyn and they were married in 2007. They continued to be active at church and traveled together to reunions, and/or visit family. He lived a full life - full of family, fun, laughter, kindness, and love! Gordon had a kind and generous heart and was loved by all who knew him.
