  Notes	From Nassau Rensselaer Co.,NY, a Blacksmith by trade in 1850. Appointed Postmaster in Ontario 1868. Prominent in Ontario village affairs, having been justice of the peace and railroad commissioner for several years. Alonzo Casey, an old resident of town, died at his home in Ontario, Saturday morning, the 16th. He was about 85 years of age and though he had retained his mental vigor, had been failing in strength for some time. His funeral was held Tuesday, from his home.
