  Notes	Dansville Breeze Thursday, June 29, 1944 George J. Engert died yesterday morning at his home in Main street shortly after five o'clock. He was eighty-three years of age. He had been in failing health for a year and has been confined to his bed for the past ten days. Mr. Engert was engaged in the automobile and garage business for years in partnership with John Klink. This business was located in Main street in the block now occupied by the Geary Chevolet Co. He was a member of the St. Paul's United Luthern Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flora Engert, one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Clements of Dansville; six grandchildren, Miss Helen Engert, and Mrs. John Foxworth of Dansville, George Engert of Cleveland, Misses Alice and Betty Clements of Rochester and Mrs Peter Krug of Snyder. Funeral services will be held at three o'clock on Friday afternoon from the home. Rev. William R. Fairman will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Greenmount cemetery.
