- A funeral service was held in the Chamberlin Funeral Home Saturday afternoon for James M. Hamsher, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamsher of RD 1 who died unexpectedly Wednesday (Sept. 30, 1959) in Dansville Memorial Hospital. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Carol and Janice; a brother, Charles Jr. and his parternal grandmother, Mrs. Flora Hamsher. The Rev. Bertram Croop officiated and burial was in Kiehle Cemetery, Sparta.
