- DANSVILLE - Jack F. Alvord, 51, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday
morning, Sept. 14, 2003 in the Emergency Room at Noyes Memorial
Hospital, Dansville after being stricken at home.
Jack was born on June 13, 1952. On May 20, 1983, he was married to
Donna VanWagnen, who survives. He was predeceased by a son, Todd
Kenney, in September of 2002.
Jack had worked as a corrections officer for the North Florida
Reception Center until 1997. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the
Moose #1130 of Dansville. He enjoyed music, fishing and his
grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife Donna are his daughter Christine
(Scott) Bindley of Dansville and two grandchildren, Brandon and Logan
Bindley.
Calling hours and services were held Wednesday at the Hindle Funeral
Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery,
Dansville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made to the Dansville
