  Notes	ALMOND-Agnes M. Fritz of 39 Main St., Almond, died Wednesday ( Feb 4. 1998) at Wellsville Manor, where had resided for three and a half years. Born in the Town of Almond, the daughter of Fred and Sarah Stewart Makeley, she was married in Almond to Howard L. Fitz who died in 1990 She was predeceased by her sister, Gladys A. Witter, who died in 1991. Agnes was a graduate of Almond High School and was a lifelong resident of the Almond area. Also she was a graduate of the former Hornell Business College and was associated with the former Rosenbaum's Inc, as an office an credit manager for 23 years. She was a member of the Almond Union of Churches, the Almond Historical Society, and the Twentieth Century Club. Agnes is survived by two nieces. Mauiel Keeny of E. Lansing, Mich., Mary Burnside of Wothington, Ind: two nephews. Bruce A. Witter of Whitesboro and Caroll E. Witter of Huntington Beach, Calif., and several great nieces and nephews. There will no prior calling hours and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Arkport Cemetery, Arkport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Almond Union of Churches, Almond Historical Society or the Almond Ambulance Fund, all in Almond, NY., 14804. Funeral arrangements are the Robertston Funeral Home Inc. Hornell.
