- Mrs. Edith DAVISON, widow of Cash DAVISON of the Karr Valley Road,
Almond, New York, died at her home November 18, 1961. She was 62.
Born in the Town of Almond, Mrs. DAVISON had lived most of her life in
that vicinity.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mervin BEARD of Stuyvesant
Falls, New York, Mrs. Chester GOSPER of Almond, Mrs. Stanley HALL of
Hornell and Miss Beverly DAVISON at home; four sons, Richard DAVISON
of Bolivar, Robert DAVISON, Melville DAVISON and Kenneth DAVISON, all
at home; 25 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn BLACKMAN of
Perry, New York, Mrs. Arabelle DONNELLY of Almond, Mrs. Mary GORDON of
Birdsall, Mrs. Irma TRAVIS of Belmont, and Mrs. Frances DuBOIS of
Bath; two brothers, Harold THOMAS of Batavia and Leo THOMAS of
Canisteo, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Dagan Funeral Home, Church St.
Hornell on November 22, 1961, with the Rev. Clarke Gilmour of
Angelica, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Almond.
