- A funeral service was conducted Saturday in the Larger Parish Church, Canaseraga, for Charles H. Kreiley, 38, who died Wednesday (Apr. 9, 1975) in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, after a short illness.
He was a self-employed contractor. A native of Wayland, he had lived in Canaseraga for 16 years.
He was a member of Sparta Methodist Church and was on the council of the Larger Parish Church. He had served on the Burns Town Board during 1972 and 1973. He was a member of Dansville Moose Lodge 1130.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Bennett Kreiley; two sons, Daniel and Donald; a daughter, Judy, all at home; his father, George Kreiley of Dansville; his mother, Mrs. Audrey Spiak of Wayland; a step-mother, Mrs. Bernice Kreiley of Dansville; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hester Whitwood of Dansville; a sister, Mrs. Linda Burr of Dansville; two brothers, Richard and James of Dansville; two half-sisters, Lisa and Chris Spiak of Wayland; three step-sisters, Mrs. Winnie Feathers of Lakeville, Mrs. Lois Mark of Dansville and Mrs. Joan French of Hornell.
Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Memorial contributions are being received for the Canaseraga Lions Club Ambulance Fund.(GCE, April 17, 1975, p10)
