  Notes	Death of R.A. Curry. CHESTER, Neb., Oct. 8. - (Special.) - R.A. Curry, a prominent man of this city and of considerable means, died at his home yesterday morning, aged fifty-six years, four months. On the 2d day of June he was stricken with paralysis, and it was thought then that he could not live, but he lingered until this time. He was an old soldier, and fought for the flag during the entire rebellion. The funeral took place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Methodist church (sic), conducted by the Rev. U.G. Brown, and the remains were laid to rest in the Chester cemetery (sic) (The Nebraska State Journal (Lincoln, NE), Tuesday, October 9, 1900; pg. 5)
