- A funeral service was conducted Tuesday for James Louis Bolger, 77, of Elyria, O., who died Saturday (June 3, 1967) following a short illness.
He was the father of Mrs. Gladys Finch and Mrs. Betty Pfuntner, both of Dansville.
Mr. Bolger was born in Cleveland, O., Oct. 20, 1889, but had lived in Elyria for the past 61 years. He was a retired machinist of the Lorain Works, U.S. Steel Corp. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door.
Surviving besides his two daughters in Dansville are his wife, Mildred; two sons, Lester of North Ridgeville, O., and Charles of Elyria; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother, who reside in Cleveland.
The Rev. Ralph Neighbour, pastor the Church of the Open Door, officiated at the funeral service. Burial was in North Ridge Cemetery. (DB, June 13, 1967, p1)
