Sergeant Leonard George Harrison
1791 - 1845 (54 years)-
Name Leonard George Harrison Title Sergeant Birth 1791 Gender Male Military Service Abt 1812 War of 1812 (US) Death 25 Sep 1845 Wayne Co., Michigan, USA Burial Union Chapel Cemetery, Inkster, Wayne Co., Michigan, USA Notes - I do not know where Leonard G. Harrison or his wife, Mary (Haynes) Harrison are buried, but my guess would be on Harrison family land in the area where they were living in Nankin Township, Wayne Co., MI. The three Harrison brothers bought and sold land in that area, as well as residing there. Leonard G. Harrison worked as a land assessor. From what I heard, their father, Joseph Harrison, originally bought the land in Michigan with back pay he received from his service as a soldier in the American Revolution. For some time Captain Joseph Harrison served under Colonel Marenus Willett, hero of Fort Stanwix, Rome, NY. (Ann M. Harrison - Nov2008)
