  Notes	A funeral service was conducted Tuesday in the Dansville Assembly of God Church for the Rev. Jerry A. Mitchell, 44, of Dalton who died Saturday (July 16, 1977) following a long illness. Born in Wayland, he had lived in Dalton the past six years where he served as pastor of the Dalton Assembly of God Church. He had also been employed as a welder at Foster Wheeler Corp., in Dansville and was a member of that firm's 25-Year Club. He was a Marine veteran and served during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Beverly Hinds Mitchell; two sons, Stephen and Jerry Andrew at home; four daughters, Robin, Dawn, April and Charity at home; his mother, Barbara Finch Mitchell; five brothers, Larry of Morningside, Md., Richard and Erwin of Cohocton, Ronald of Dansville and Norbert of Kirkville; six sisters, Carolyn of And-over, Linda of Mt. Morris, Marcia of Greenwood, Darlene of Wayland, Sandra of San Diego, Calif., and Cheryl of Andover. Burial was in Westview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dalton Assembly of God Church. (GCE, July 21, 1977, p8)
