- David P. Harrington, 22, of 19 Knox St., Dansville, died Monday (Feb. 8, 1988) as the result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident in York.
A native and life resident of Dansville, he was born June 11, 1965, the son of Richard and Marion Derrenbacher Harrington. He was an employee of Tabtronics Co. of York for the past five years.
He had been accepted by Alfred State College for the fall semester. He was a 1984 graduate of Dansville Senior High School and was an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents, survivors include five sisters, Lee Ann Rider of Dansville, Jeanne Jansch of Orlando, Fla., Elaine Melendrez of Dansville, Corrinne Naile of LeRoy, Katherine Thomas of Hornell; seven brothers, Robert Jansch of Mt. Morris and Richard Jansch of Minot, N.D., Patrick, Timothy and Matthew Harrington, all of Dansville, Richard John Harrington of Rochester and Michael Harrington of Arlington, Va.; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Chamberlin Funeral Home where a service will be at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Paul Shoop officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville.
