He was born April 2, 1929 in Wheeling,W Va. He was a veteran who served in the US Army and a member of the Fawcett Post No 1582 in Canaseraga. He was predeceased by a son, Robert McCray, in 1960. Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret Harvey McCray, is one daughter Judy Bouffard of Dansville; two sons, John McCray Jr, of Dansville and Terry McCray of Canasaraga; three grandchildren; one brother, George of Dansville, one half-sister, Betty Boury of Wheeling WVa and several nieces and nephews.
