  Notes	Leila M. Hamsher, 65, of Duluth, Minn., died Thursday (Aug. 24, 1989) in the Nensen Nursing Home there. Born in Baltimore, she lived in Turkey, New Mexico and New York State before moving to Duluth in 1965. She had worked in retail management for the G.C. Murphy Co. store in Baltimore. Mrs. Hamsher was a member of the Pike Lake Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and coordinator. She also was coordinator of Protestant Sunday School at the Duluth Air Force Base for 17 years. Surviving are her husband, Charles Hamsher; three sons, David of Jacksonville, Fla., Dennis of Saginaw and Douglas of Milwaukee; two sisters, Lois Vincent of Martinsburg, W. Va.; and Dorcas Baker of Baltimore; four grandchildren. A memorial service was conducted in Duluth. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. ('Obituary.' GCE, 7 Sep 1989, p9)
