He is buried next to his father. George and Harriet became parents of two children: Mary Jane born 1849 and Andelusia Dieter born 1851 in Livingston County, NY. In 1860 Harriet Dieter was listed as head of a family, age 27, b NY occupation dress maker. The two daughters listed with her, Mary Jane age 11 and Ann D. (Andelusia) age 10. The two young daughers Mary Jane and Andelusia were mentioned as heirs in the will of their grandmother, Barbara Dotterer Dieter, which was dated March 9, 1861. They were of North Dansville at that time.
