  Notes	Addison July 27-D.C. Colvin died at home near Borden, July 23 from injuries sustained on July 19 while standing in the barn watching his sons unload hay. A large stick of timber fell from the beam above him, striking him on the top of his head, knocking him over the brestgirt into the mow. He was unconscious for a little time. He suffered a great deal of pain the few days that he lived. All was done for his relief that medical aid and good nursing could do. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, three sons and one daughter. Besides a number of grandchildren. He also leaves one sister. Mr. Colvin was born in Spring Mills Oct 26, 1835 and was 71 years of age.
