  Notes	LeRoy ~ Lewis J. Lander, age 77, of North Street, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday evening, June 16, 2014. Mr. Lander was born March 27, 1937 in Riga, N.Y., a son of the late Carl and Harriet Amesbury Lander. He will be remembered as a loving family man, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid golfer and member of the LeRoy Country Club for many years. He is survived by his wife, Frances Ianello Lander; daughter, JoAnn (Tom) Ryan of LeRoy; son, Thomas (Beth) Lander of LeRoy; grandchildren, Thomas (Adrienne) Ryan, Christina Ryan, Karl (Abby) Lander; great-grandchildren, Matthew Ryan and Kayleigh Lander; brother, Dean (Charlotte) Lander; sister, Betty (Bart) Smith and brother in law, Raymond Schnieder. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Joan Lander and Doris Schnieder. Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of any flowers, memorials are suggested to the LeRoy Ambulance Services.
