  Notes	Mrs. Jennie M. Collins, former pioneer resident of Willow Lake. Mrs. Collins died December 1 in Santa Cruz, California, where she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Winnie Frohlech for a number of years. She had been in failing health the past three years and suffered a stroke which was the cause of her death. Mrs. Collins and husband, D. D. Collins, came to the Dakota Territory in the early 1880’s, homesteading south of Willow Lake, before the town had been plotted. They spent many years in Clark County. Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Minnie Frohlech, Harold and Kittridge Collins on the west coast and Mrs. Fred Bartels, Gary. Her husband and an infant son preceded her in death.
