    Notes 
    • Valentine Kurtz, for many years a respected resident of South Dansville, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Buckley, east of this village, on the Atlanta Road, Monday night at the age of 74 years. Mr. Kurtz had lived with his daughter for the past year and a half, having been in poor health. Besides the daughter mentioned he is survived by one son, Paul Kurtz of South Dansville and a daughter, Mrs. Fred Flath of Detroit; also a brother Peter Kurtz of South Dansville. The funeral was held today at St. Paul's church, Perkinsville Rev. H. Nochren officiating.
