Plot: KiehleNotes - Dwight Monroe Kiehle, The little son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Kiehle of East Orange, NJ, died last Thursday, Sept. 11, in the hospital where he had been taken and operated upon for appendicitis. The little fellow rallied for the operation an hopes were entertained for his recovery, but he began to fail after two or three days. The remains were brought here Sunday for interment and the funeral services were conducted at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Hartman where only about a month before he had been visiting with his mother. Dwight Monroe was a bright and attractive little boy of six years and was the only son in whom the hearts of the parents were wrapped up. He had never been rugged constitutionally, and the disease which had necessitated the operation had evidently been causing trouble for some time. The funeral was conducted by Dr. J. E. Manning, was largely attended by the numerous relatives and interment was at the beautiful Greenmount Cemetery on Monday afternoon.
