He was born Sept. 4, 1924, in Rochester a son of George and Helen Curtis and was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. there for 21 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Cecil; three daughters, Sharon Greenhagen and Cindy Kalstad, both of Webster, and Kathy Nacy of Henrietta; a son, John Jr. of Rochester; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister, Helen Bell of Fairport; a brother, George Curtis of Conesus Lake; nieces and nephews.
A service was conducted in the John W. Martin Funeral Home of Mt. Morris with the Rev. Dan Condon officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville.
