Bruce Edward Lander, of Long Beach, Calif., died Saturday (April 10, 2010). He was born Feb. 22, 1939 in Dansville, the son of Clair and Carmel Perry Lander, who predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Andrew; his sister, Joy (Carl) Clauss; nephew, Mark Clauss; and niece, Beth Ann Clauss. Bruce earned a B.A. in ceramic design from Alfred University and worked for McDonnell Douglas-Boeing for 32 years. His memorial service took place on April 26 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 39556 Studebaker Rd., Long Beach. Donations are requested to Family Service of Long Beach, 5500 E.
