      TN 21 Mar 1864. Participated in Siege of Corinth, was taken prisoner
      of war by Forrest at Lex- ington, TN and interned in the Andersonville
      Prison Camp in AL. Discharged at Indianapolis 11 Sep 1865.
      Re-enlistment papers state "born Vermillion, IN, eyes grey, hair
      medium, complexion fair, height 5ft 10in. Farmer."
