Y. - At his home, Saturday evening, August 15, Willis E. Lee died, at the age of 47 years. Mr. Lee was a brother of Supervisor R. M. Lee, and was born and always lived in this town. He was a man of sterling worth and was liked by everyone with whom he came in contact. For the past six years he had been a great sufferer from rheumatism. He was so badly crippled as to be unable to walk for the past two years and for the past three months was entirely helpless. His mind was active and he was cheerful up to the last, never complaining and always greatly interested in what was going on in the world and in the community. He is survived by his wife, one son, his mother, one brother, and four sisters; his brother, Supervisor R. M. Lee, and one sister, Mrs. O.[Oliver] H. Swift [Cynthia Lee Swift], living here, his mother and three sisters, Sarah, Lillian and Inez, living in Canandaigua. Burial Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua
