  Notes	Mrs. Alida B. Hawk, 76, of Dansville RD 1 died Sunday (May 30, 1982) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born in Penn Yan, she had lived in the Dansville area for the past 53 years. Mrs. Hawk was a retired school teacher, having worked in the Dansville District. She was a member of the Sparta Methodist Church, a member and past matron of Kate J. Jackson Court of the Amaranth and a member, and past matron and past district deputy grand matron of Deborah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hawk was a member and past noble grand of Stony Brook Rebekah Lodge of Dansville and a member of the Golden Cross of the King's Daughters. She also served as a lay member for the Methodist Church in the Hornell District. Surviving are her husband, Edward; two sons, Gordon of Groveland and Duane of Rush; a stepson, Albert Hawk of Dansville; three grandchildren. A service was conducted in the Chamberlin Funeral Home here Wednesday morning. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dansville Ambulance Fund.
