  Notes	Edwin Ziegenfuss passed away Monday evening at the family home in upper Main Street. He was the son of the late Jacob and Catherine Hughes Ziegenfuss and was born in the town of North Dansville, October 9, 1853. He was united in marriage to Miss Dora Rowe July 20, 1886 and to them were born two children. Mr. and Mrs. Ziegenfuss lived on their farm in the town of North Dansville until 1902 when they moved to Dansville. He was a lifelong member of Saint Paul's United Lutheran church and for many years was an active member and secretary of the Dansville Grange. He was a man of retiring disposition but had made a large circle of friends who mourn his passing. Mr. Ziegenfuss is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Alta Losey of Rochester; two grandchildren, Edwin and Kenneth Losey; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Wilhelm of Dansville; one niece, Mrs. Robert Vahinger of Dansville, and one nephew, William Ziegenfuss of Wayland. Burial was made in the family plot in Greenmount cemetery. (The Dansville Express, April 4, 1930)
