  Notes	Birth record of her son Roy, shows her madian names as Laten/Lathin/Layton(b.Wisconsin). A website of Douglas and Candice (Scott) Sutton DASUTTON99@AOL.Com has her as Helena Maydole(d/o Cornelius Maydole) Cornelius' father Cornelius settled in Ohio about 1855, from Fremont,Steuben Co.,NY In the 1850 census there is a Thomas 'Dayton', in Richland Co.,WI with a daughter Helen aged 3(born Wisconsin). I cant find this family in any census after(may have gone to Canada or just missed the census or the spelling of the name is off).. Can't disprove is not This Helen Layton...long shot.. Helen Arminta thought to be the youngest daughter of Nelson Lattin and Eliza Stiles from New York, who settled in Walworth County, Wisconsin where her father died c1851. She was probably a twin sister to her brother William Lattin. Helen's mother remarried to Marks Whipple and moved to Holt County, Missouri, where she died c1861.
