  Notes	Livonia Gazette, Thursday, July 17, 1947 Mrs Sarah E Opper, widow of Peter Opper of South Livonia, passed away yesterday morning (Wednesday), July 16, from a heart attack, which she suffered the previous afternoon. Mrs Opper was born in Brighton, Nov 19, 1859, the daughter of Mitchell and Catherine King Sherbert, one of 12 children and the last surviving member. She was married to Peter Opper in Rush, Mar 12, 1879, and lived in that town about five years. From Rush they moved to Conesus and nine years later to South Livonia, which has been Mrs. Oppers home for 54 years. Mr Opper died July 11, 1924. Mrs Opper is survived by three daughters, Mrs Ernest R Kiehle of South Livonia, Mrs Earl C Williams of Leicester, Miss Azalia Opper of Detroit; two sons, Austin K and Grant W of Detroit, MI; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Reed Funeral home, Saturday afternoon, July 19, at 3 o'clock, with burial in Arnold cemetery, Conesus.
