Whereas, my wife, Mary D. Fronk, has left my bed and board without just cause or provocation. I hereby forbid any persons harboring or trusting her on my account.

- Death of Abraham Fronk.
Abraham Fronk died at the home of his son, Joseph Fronk, corner of Main and Exchange streets, this village, Monday noon, June 9, 1919, after a five weeks illness of cancer of the liver, aged 57 years. He was the son of Samuel Fronk and Rebecca Steffy, he was born on Canada Hill in the eastern part of this town, and he was a grandson of George Fronk and Mary Durtrey, who were among the early Dutch settlers who came from Pennsylvania and settled on that hill in 1824. George Fronk died at the advanced age of 98 years. For over thirty years Abraham had lived in the town of Sparta on what is known as the county line road. He was an honest and industrious man and for more than 30 years had worked for one man in his community.
The funeral was held at St. Paul's United Lutheran church, on Thursday at 2 p. m., Rev. Karg officiating, and be was buried in Greenmount cemetery. He leaves one son Joseph Fronk of this village and one brother John Fronk of West View, also his stepmother Mrs. Samuel Fronk of Canada Hill, and three half brothers, Samuel Fronk of Sparta, George and Adam Fronk of Canada Hill, and two half sisters Mrs. Lloyd Moose and Mrs. George Pfuntner of Sparta. The relatives attending the funeral from a distance, were Mr. and Mrs. John Beachner of Lent Hill, George Fronk and Miss Julia Beachner of Cohocton.
