- Leonard W. Milliman age 79, of Sugar Creek Road in Ossian, passed away early Sunday morning (August 2, 1998) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, due to complications from heart surgery. He was born in Ossian on December 9, 1918, a son of George H. and Catherine I. Cook Milliman. On October 27, 1939, he was married to June I. Kline who survives. He was predeceased by his son Larry in December of 1994, Five sisters Ruth Sanford, Onalee Moore, Luella Gillman, Lottie Dilgard and Virginia French, and three brothers Doley, Clyde and Ivan Milliman. Leonard worked at the Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville for 37 years retiring in 1978 as a Tube Pointer in the Tube Shop. He was a member of the Twenty-Five Year Club at Foster Wheeler, the Loyal Order of the Moose # 1130 of Dansville and had enjoyed fishing and trading cars. Surviving in addition to his devoted wife June is his daughter, Donna (Angelo) Abby of Geneseo, two grandsons Jeff (Molly) Kreiley of Groveland Hill and Greg (Sue) Kreiley of Alfred Station and five great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville, with the Rev. David Hotchkiss officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Ossian.
