Mr. Stewart was born in Dansville and was a lifelong resident of this community. He was a retired employee of Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. He was a 35-year member of the Jackson Hose Fire Co. and a member of the Livingston County Fire Police organization. Mr. Stewart also was a member of the Foster Wheeler 25-Year Club and of the Dansville Moose Club. Surviving are his wife, Helen; a son, Donald of Dansville; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Mattice of Dansville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Chamberlin Funeral Home where a service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
