  Notes	Charles' grandparents, Benjamin Sr. and Tarzy Ann (Warner) Poole, were from Wexford County,Ireland. As taken from the obituary of Charles J. Poole, 1924. "Chas. J. Poole was born in Canada in the year 1865 and departed this life at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. Mason in Hopewell VA., at the age of 59 years. Mr. Poole came to Michigan in 1867 with his parents and settled near Maple Ridge. In 1908 he with his family went to Virginia(by covered wagon), where they lived four years. Then they went to Tarpon Springs, Florida, where they lived four years. Since then he has been in Maple Ridge and Virginia. He has been a sufferer(of asthma and heart problems) the past eight years. He is survived by his wife(Vinnie Fish Poole), who lives in Detroit and seven children, Ray of Maple Ridge, George of Hopewell,VA, Earl, Roy, and Leslie of Detroit, and two daughters, Mrs. L. Mason of Hopewell,VA and Mrs. L.H. Sanderson of Detroit, his mother Mrs.Henrietta Poole, and three brothers, Oscar of Alpena, Ben of Caro, Bert of Twining, one sister, Mrs. C. Scott of Prescott. His remains were brought to the home of his brother Bert in Twining Friday Feb.29(1924). Funeral services were held at the Mission hall, Saturday at 12 o'clock, Mr.Quist officiating, with interment in Cedar Valley cemetery."
