  Notes	Kenneth O. Hamsher, 78, of 11 Fulton St., Dansville, died unexpectedly Friday (Sept. 27, 1985) in Noyes Memorial Hospital. Born in Sparta, Mr. Hamsher had resided in this area all his life. He was a welder at the Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. plant here, retiring in 1970 after 26 years of service. He was an avid horseman and was a founder of the former Dansville Riders Club. He was a member of the National Trotting Breed Association, the Moravia Trotting Pony Association, the Genesee Valley Horse Show Association, Dansville United Methodist Church, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1130 in Dansville and the Foster Wheeler 25-Year Club. Mr. Hamsher's wife, Evelyn, died three months ago. Surviving are a daughter, Jean Lauffer of Caledonia with whom he had made his home recently; a son, Richard of Kingston; a sister, Luella Crowell of Dansville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A service was conducted in the Hindle Funeral Home, Dansville, Monday afternoon with the Rev. G. Calvin Sheasley officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery, West Sparta. Memorial contributions may be made to Noyes Hospital. (GCE, October 3, 1985, p6)
